COVID-19
Dear FCN Staff and Residents,
With the Coronavirus pandemic firmly in the news and beginning to impact our daily lives, we wanted to highlight some of the precautions we’re taking – in line with best practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Arizona Department of Health Services – for the health and safety of our members and employees.
FCN PRECAUTIONS
The following precautions are in place at all locations:
In addition to regular daily cleaning, common spaces like desks, computers, counters, and other areas such as restrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, all kitchen utensils, and the houses, in general, will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
All employees and residents have been asked to wash hands frequently and to use hand sanitizer, especially because we are working with the residents directly.
Employees who are ill will be asked to stay at home.
We’ll be practicing social distancing, trading handshakes for head nods, or other friendly gestures for the time being.
We of course welcome you into any one of our locations to work your scheduled shifts as usual, but as has become customary messaging, will just remind you to be mindful of washing your hands and taking appropriate precautions to ensure your fellow members and staff are safe and healthy.
Other Precautions
We’re taking other precautions to minimize the risk of spreading the virus within our community by:
Postponing or canceling large employee gatherings and community events
Eliminating non-critical meetings
Assistance
If you’ve been impacted by the Coronavirus and need assistance, please contact the administration to figure out the next step.
Looking Ahead …
We’ll continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on additional measures we may take to support our members, employees, and the community. For the latest information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), visit the Centers for Disease Control at cdc.gov.
Sincerely,
Famond Care Network (FCN), LLC.
