CHECK ALL BHT AND BHPP WORK FOR THE PAST WEEK TO MAKE SURE THEY COMPLETED PROGRESS NOTES, MARS, MED LIST FOR NEW MEDS OR UPDATE MED LIST AS NEEDED, AND COMPLETED THE DAILY SHIFT CROUP COUNSELING.
MAKE SURE ALL RESIDENT'S MEDICATION RECORD ARE UP TO DATE.
MAKE SURE ALL Dr. APPOINTMETS ARE UP TO DATE AND.
MAKE SURE ALL RESIDENTS HAVE A COMPLETE FOLDER.
CHECK ON TREATMENT PLAN PRESENCE, EXPIRATION DATES.
CHECK TO MAKE SURE ALL INTAKE ASSESSMENTS ARE AVAILABLE.
MAKE ALL Dr. APPOINTMENTS AS NEEDED.
ORGANIZE MEETINGS WITH COORDINATION OF THE PROGRAM COORDINATOR AS NEEDED.
UPDATE THE ADMINISTRATION WITH ALL CHANGES.

Policy Statement: This policy outlines the services that a Behavioral Health Technician is allowed to provide.
Procedure:
5.1 The duties of a Behavioral Health Technician/facility manager consist of the following.
5.1-a Responsible for reviewing, and discussing client behavioral health issues, behavioral health services, and records with the rest of the team.
5.1-b Reviewing and discussing other topics that enhance the skills and knowledge of other staff members.
5.1-c Responsible for determining whether an assessment or treatment plan is complete and accurate and meets the client’s treatment goals.
5.1-d He/she will be responsible for assisting the residence with meal preparation.
5.1-e He/she will be responsible for the supervision of BHT and BHPP to make sure they are doing the right thing base on company policy.
5.1-f He/she will assign, coordinate, or take residents to scheduled medical appointments.
5.1-g He/she will be responsible for assisting the clients in the self-administration of their
medications and document in the medication administration record (MAR).
5.1-h He/she will properly document client daily progress notes and activities relating to client behavioral health issues.
5.1-i With clinical oversight by a BHP, a BHT/Facility manager may be allowed to counsel clients on their diagnoses and co-occurring disorders.
5.1-j Understands and able to identify medications commonly prescribed for mental disorders.
5.1-k Assist residents in exercising their rights as residents of the agency.
5.1-l Ensure that residents receive the care and services specified in their treatment plan and in accordance with the rules set forth in this policy.
5.1-m Assist clients to secure and maintain viable employment opportunities and accessing community services and resources.
5.1-n Assign and coordinate work with all the BHTs.
INCOMING STAFF SHALL GET A RUNDOWN FROM THE MANAAGERS AND ALSO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE SHIFT CHANGE CHECKLIST
